🚨 Kelani River Flood Situation Update – 07.00 AM, 30 November

⭕️ The water level at Nagalagam Street has risen to 7.1 ft. The official Major Flood level is 7 ft, which means the flood situation in Colombo is now officially at Major Flood status.

⭕️ During the 2016 floods, the water level at Nagalagam Street peaked at 7.64 ft.

⭕️ The entire Kelani River, from Glencourse to Colombo, is now above the Major Flood level. Both Glencourse and Hanwella remain above flood level, but levels are now going down, indicating that most of the water has already passed Hanwella.
