💡 Electricity tariffs have increased in Sri Lanka 🇱🇰, effective from 1st April 2026.

⭕️ The PUCSL states an overall increase of 13.5%, but the increase is smaller for low-usage consumers, while high-usage consumers face a steep rise.

⭕️ Usage above 180 units has been hit with an ~37% unit price increase, from Rs. 61 to Rs. 85.
