🇱🇰 Sri Lanka’s Real GDP Grew 5.1% in Q1 2026

⭕ Real GDP rose from Rs. 3,476.7 billion in Q1 2025 to Rs. 3,652.5 billion in Q1 2026. 5.1% 🔼

⭕ Real GDP growth measures the increase in goods and services produced after removing price changes. It shows whether actual economic output has grown.

⭕ 🇱🇰 Sri Lanka recorded 5.1% real GDP growth by comparing Q1 2026 output with Q1 2025 output.

⭕ Industry grew 7.2%, services grew 3.4%, and agriculture grew 1.1%.

⭕ Industry accounted for 27.2% of GDP, services 54.2%, and agriculture 7.3%.
