Forgot Your TIN? Sri Lanka 🇱🇰 IRD Now Offers Online Retrieval

⭕ The Inland Revenue Department now lets taxpayers retrieve their Taxpayer Identification Number online via its e-Services portal.

⭕ Users can verify their identity through an OTP sent to their registered mobile number or email address.

⭕ The service reduces the need to visit an IRD office just to recover a forgotten TIN.

Note: This portal has a few bugs, including random OTP errors, a search button that appears disabled but is still clickable, and other UI/UX issues. However, repeated attempts may eventually get the job done.
