DAILY SALARY DEDUCTIONS FOR PUBLIC OFFICERS FAILING TO DECLARE ASSETS

⭕ 🇱🇰 The deadline to submit asset and liability declarations expired on June 30.

⭕ Warning letters have been issued to executive and managerial officers, giving them 14 days to comply.

⭕ Heads of state institutions must submit the names of non-compliant officers to the Bribery Commission.

⭕ Salary deductions, calculated at 1/30th of the monthly salary per day, will begin on July 15 for those who remain non-compliant.

Note: Officers who are on foreign leave or abroad are also required to submit their asset declarations as per the law.
