🚨 Sep 30 — Final Deadline to Pay Outstanding Taxes

⭕ Under the Inland Revenue Act Sri Lanka 🇱🇰, the final date to pay any outstanding tax liability for the Year of Assessment 2024-2025 is 30th September.

⭕ Even if your employment tax (PAYE) covers most of your income, you must declare and pay tax on other income (interest, rent, business profits, etc.) by 30 September.

⭕ Failure to pay by Sep 30 triggers penalties and interest on overdue tax, with IRD able to enforce recovery through legal action, including bank account garnishing.

⭕ Settle all due taxes by 30 September and file your income tax return by 30 November.
